From June 20-24, 2015, Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics will host the Convergence conference, which features on-site and online opportunities for physicists to discuss the future of the field.

“Physics is at a watershed moment. The most powerful-ever experiments are revealing our universe with unprecedented clarity – from the quantum to the cosmos,” says Neil Turok, cosmologist and director of Perimeter Institute. “The time is right for Convergence, a gathering of world-leading researchers at Perimeter Institute to discuss the field's most exciting frontiers and help chart a course for the future.”

The conference, which will be webcast live and feature many opportunities for off-site participants to engage in the discussion online, is sponsored by BMO Financial Group.

Speakers include eminent physicists such as Immanuel Bloch, Savas Dimopoulos, Nergis Mavalvala, Subir Sachdev, Sara Seager, and Maria Spiropulu, among others. The subject matter will be truly universal in scope, with talks on particle physics, quantum foundations, quantum information, the Event Horizon Telescope, exoplanets and more.
