STFC Awards £113,223 to Theoretical Particle Physics Group

Dr Stephen West and Dr Nikolas Kauer have been awarded £113,223 from the Science & Technology Facilities Council (STFC) for the project entitled: 'Theoretical Particle Physics Consortium Sussex – Royal Holloway 2014-2017.’

Drs West and Kauer comment: 'The Theoretical Particle Physics Group at Royal Holloway are delighted to renew our partnership with the Theoretical Particle Physics Group at the University of Sussex within SEPnet's NExT Institute. The collaboration will benefit from our expertise in astroparticle theory and collider phenomenology, which complements the expertise in the recently expanded group at Sussex. Our goal is to develop and analyse new and innovative models of dark matter and to contribute to the full exploitation of the Large Hadron Collider physics potential with Standard Model precision predictions and improved methods for Beyond-Standard Model searches.'
