Research Interests:

Feng Yu is a probabilist with a background in electrical engineering. Before He became a mathematician, He spent a few years of his life doing image processing and reconstruction for various tomography problems. He still think that's a lot of fun and will try to get back into it in the near future. These days, He mainly try to use probabilistic methods to study problems arising in biology and genetics, in particular, the evolutionary aspects.
