Poster on DEAP-3600 Dark Matter Detector Wins Award at Physics in Collision Conference

Dr. Nasim Fatemighomi, a postdoctoral research in the Dark Matter group, recently won Best Poster at the 2015 Physics In Collision conference.

This is an international symposium whose focus is to update key topics in elementary particle physics, highlighting new results in the field.

Nasim's poster, about the DEAP-3600 Dark Matter Detector that the department collaborates on, was selected as one of the best posters at the meeting, and Nasim will now get the chance to present his work in more detail. A pdf version of his poster can be downloaded here.
