Christopher Research interests include The theory of ultrafast optical, electrical and transport properties of bulk and quantum confined semiconductors; coherent and incoherent carrier kinetics in semiconductors; coherent optical and acoustic phonons in bulk seminconductors and superlattices; nonlinear Faraday effect in dilute magnetic semiconductors; wavepacket dynamics and THz radiation from ultrafast excitation; coherent control and optical pulse-shaping.
