Background
Kevin Resch received the B.Sc. (Hon.) degree in Chemical Physics from Queen’s University, Kingston, Canada, in 1997. He received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Physics from the University of Toronto, Canada, in 1998 and 2002 respectively. His Masters and Doctoral theses were based on experimental quantum optics and completed under the supervision of Aephraim Steinberg. Subsequently, Kevin held an NSERC Postdoctoral Fellowship with Anton Zeilinger’s group at the University of Vienna, Austria and a Research Fellow position with Andrew White’s Quantum Technology Laboratory at the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia. He joined the UW physics department and IQC in 2006.
